Folklore Cough Remedy #2 – Stuffing an Onion with Brown Sugar

After the lemon, came the onion. Or more precisely, hollowing out an onion and filling it with brown sugar. Now, the remedy didn’t give any clues as to what type of onion (so I used brown), or what type of sugar (I used dark muscovado) or how long I was supposed to leave it (I left it overnight). So much like how long I was supposed to roast the lemon, I busked this cough remedy.

Reader, it was still repeating on me when I went to bed that night.

Final remedy: swede sweat….
