If you’re feeling like you need some advice and the witty repartee of a folklorist isn’t going to cut it, here are three good resources that might:
You can contact Samaritans free and anonymously 24/7 by phone on 116 123, email jo@samaritans.org, or by post at Freepost SAMARITANS LETTERS and you can also walk in at certain centres. They are there to listen and not judge, and despite popular perception, you don’t have to be suicidal to talk to them.
Mind provide help and support to ’empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem’. They have collated an excellent list of services you can access if you need some support, click here.
Citizen’s Advice provides a free, confidential advice and information on your rights service. You can talk to them about issues including housing, money, and discrimination.
