16 October 2020 – Spring Prediction

Two bits of coincidentally intertwined weatherlore today. The first, it was a fine(ish), if nippy day today, just as last night’s rainbow predicted. Folklore for the win! But the fine(ish), if nippy weather also fed into today’s weatherlore prediction, for it is said, if it remains dry on 16 October, the coming spring shall also be dry. Which is a little unsatisfying as we won’t know if folklore’s won for a while. But at least it’s something to forward to.

And just in case you were wondering, no, I didn’t shove my head in a sheave
